About Yuka Ito Design

On mornings when energy feels out of reach, our jewelry is there to quietly encourage you—like a whisper of strength, a subtle reminder that you’ve got this. We create pieces that carry inner confidence, crafted with care and intention, every single day.

Yuka Ito Design jewelry is handcrafted one by one in a home studio in Amsterdam, using recycled silver and gold with deep respect for traditional techniques. We avoid excessive use of machinery and choose materials that are as kind as possible to both the planet and the people.

About Yuka

Yuka Ito-Hamburger (b.1985 Nagoya, Japan) handcrafts jewelry that is contemporary and minimalistic, yet quietly warm. By simplifying the design by omitting some elements, by combining different materials/colors/techniques and textures she tries to give the object a completed form. Inspiration often comes from her everyday surroundings, not only through what she sees, but also what she feels, hears, and smells—translating sensory impressions into wearable forms.

She discovered jewelry making while living in Italy, where she studied traditional goldsmithing in Florence. Her journey then led her to Finland, drawn by the purity and restraint of Nordic design. She graduated from the Lahti Institute of Design and Fine Arts in 2018, and now lives and works in Amsterdam.

From her cozy home atelier, she continues to design and handcraft jewelry that invites quiet reflection and tactile connection.
